Classroom Behavior

The 3 R's to Classroom Behavior

Respect, Responsibility and the Right to Learn

There is no question that through-out the nation the biggest challenge facing schools today is teaching and reinforcing the skills needed to maintain proper classroom behavior. The Morris Brothers newest program takes on this challenge by presenting their new live assembly called The 3 R's to Classroom Behavior- (1) Respect, (2) Responsibly and (3) The Right to Learn. The assembly has been developed to teach and reinforce such essential classroom behavior skills as:

-keeping your hands, feet and object to self
-the use of good manners
-raising a "patient" hand in class and the importance of classroom participation
-using self-control
-turning in class work and homework in on time
-staying on task
-following directions the first time asked
-taking responsibility for one's actions
-reporting vs. tattling
-using time wisely
-asking the teacher for permission
-understanding that we can all learn more if one person talks at a time
-the use of good listening skills
-writing down assignments keeps you organized
-keeping a clean desk
-walking in a quiet line down the hallway.
-showing kindness to one another

The Morris Brothers performance is a Turn Key operation. They will bring their own sound system and follow-up lesson plans will be provided to your teachers and counselors via hand outs and the existing website – www.themorrisbrothers.com.
